Using the Strikethrough command is the simplest way to create a strikethrough line through selected text. If you want to further modify the look of the line, use the option available in the Fonts window.
First select some text or a text box containing text to which you want to add the strikethrough.
Choose Format > Font > Strikethrough.
A strikethrough appears through the selected text in the same color as the text.
Click Fonts in the toolbar.
In the Fonts window, select the kind of strikethrough you want from the Text Strikethrough pop-up menu:
Single: strikes through the text with a single line.
Double: strikes through the text with a double line.
A strikethrough appears through the selected text in the same color as the text.
To change the strikethrough color, choose Color from the Text Strikethrough pop-up menu.
Select a color in the Colors window.
The strikethrough takes on the color you selected, but the text retains its original color.
